Abstract

The article presents NIMBYsyndromeas a type of local conflict, takinginto account phases of development, itslevels andmethodsof mitigation. NIMBY syndrome has been portrayed as a conflict affecting the lives of localcommunities, drawing on the classic concept of conflict. The article also provides an analysis of investment inrenewable energysourcesas potentially affected by NIMBY.
